We are looking for a seasoned Venue Manager with a strong background in hotel operations. The ideal candidate will have the skills to manage a multifaceted business, with experience in gaming, bars, food, and bottle shop operations. The salary is negotiable for the right candidate. In this position, you will:
- Lead from the front, ensuring your team understands what exceptional service looks like every day
- Up-skill and develop each team member’s product knowledge and service standards
- Manage wage costing & rosters, P&Ls, and stock levels across all areas of the business
- Ensure each and every guest has a seamless and entertaining experience
- Ensure the venue complies with all health and safety regulations and liquor licensing laws
- Evaluate operational methodologies and implement solutions to improve efficiencies
- Ensure all communication—verbal and written—is professional and reliable
- Provide relevant and required function/event information well in advance
- Collaborate across all business functions and drive delivery of operational outcomes
- Assist throughout the venue in other roles as required
- Work with the broader management team to promote the venue as a premier functions and events destination

What we are looking for:
- Experience in the daily management and operation of a busy restaurant/F&B department
- Strong industry knowledge, particularly in cocktail & beverage trends
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to lead, motivate, and develop a team
- Ability to develop a strong & proactive relationship with the local community
- Ability to drive growth opportunities, activation, and delivery of business objectives
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
- Qualified to be appointed the Approved Manager & Gaming Nominee
